ONE-MIND:
Online Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery

Mindfulness involves bringing awareness to one’s present moment experience, to acknowledge one’s thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations. Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery (MBCR) is a program designed to help people living with cancer cope with the difficulties of this experience. MBCR involves a combination of training in meditation and yoga to do so.

The ONE-MIND study provides MBCR to individuals living with cancer who are undergoing or are about to undergo chemotherapy treatment, with the hopes that negative symptoms related to chemotherapy treatment and cancer will be prevented or reduced. This program is offered free of charge online, via eMindful, to alleviate the burden of attending in-person classes.
